Presets by Aliyah: City Lights

The "city lights" preset is one I use SOOO much! It is a really unique preset that brightens everything up and looks super chic. I named it "city lights" because the bright white hue it gives off reminds me of the big buildings in NYC at night time! It's so enchanting and I love this preset so much. You do NOT need the paid version of Lightroom, this preset can be used and adjusted on the free Lightroom CC app. This preset is ideal for any type of photo whether it's professional or on an iPhone.

Preset like a Pro: Even though presets are usually one-click magic, some minor adjustments may be needed depending on the lighting of the photo. What I do every time is adjust the exposure to where I need it to be and then mess with the temperature or individual colors. These presets are beautiful on their own, but depending on the photo you may need to adjust it slightly. This preset works the best with natural-lit photos.

Here is how to download the presets: Once you have purchased my preset you will be given the option to download the file from where you bought it or you will get an email with a link to download it (if you do not see it in your primary email you may want to check in spam or under the promotions tab). Once you have the preset downloaded, open up the folder and you should see my image. Save this image to your camera roll. Once you open your camera roll, you will see the image (IT WILL BE A GRAY BOX, DON'T WORRY, THAT IS HOW IT'S SUPPOSED TO LOOK). Once you download/save the (gray) image to the camera roll, open the Lightroom app and insert the image into Lightroom. Once the photo is in Lightoom, all you have to do is click the button with the three dots in the upper right-hand corner, click “create preset” then you can name it whatever you like and start using! It’ll be saved under “presets” for all your future editing.
